Who We Are

Barnes Brothers Truck and Trailer Repair is a family-owned commercial fleet maintenance and repair company based in Irving, Texas. We help businesses throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area keep their trucks, trailers, and equipment safe, reliable, and on the road.

Our roots date back to 2004, when the company began as Barnsco Fleet Maintenance—an extension of the highway construction materials business Jeff and Gary Barnes built and operated for more than 40 years. After the sale of Barnsco was completed in 2017, Jeff and Gary retained the fleet maintenance operation and continued growing it as Barnes Brothers Truck and Trailer Repair.

Jeff’s son, Jonathan Barnes, joined the company in 2021 to lead its next chapter. His vision remains straightforward: build Barnes Brothers into the most dependable fleet maintenance partner in DFW by providing quality repairs, responsive communication, and the turnaround times commercial fleets depend on.

Today, Barnes Brothers supports company-owned fleets through both in-shop and mobile service. For many customers, that means more than fixing a truck when something breaks. It means staying ahead of maintenance needs, addressing developing issues early, and providing a consistent repair resource they can rely on as their fleet grows. We're a team equipped to serve as the primary maintenance provider, overflow resource, or dependable backup when additional support is needed. The second half is strong, so I left it as is.

Our Shop

Barnes Brothers opened its new headquarters at 3083 Recognition Point Drive in Irving in September 2025. Centrally located between DFW Airport and Dallas Love Field, the facility gives us the space, equipment, and repair capacity to support commercial fleets throughout North Texas.

Our team services light-, medium-, and heavy-duty commercial vehicles, including box trucks, trailers, and liftgate-equipped units. With experienced technicians, advanced diagnostics, dedicated truck and trailer repair capacity, and mobile service throughout DFW, we help fleet managers handle scheduled maintenance, inspections, unexpected repairs, and more complex mechanical work through one dependable service partner.

For fleet operators, downtime affects more than a single vehicle. It can disrupt routes, delay jobs, tie up drivers, and create additional work for the people managing the fleet. Our focus is on identifying problems accurately, communicating clearly throughout the repair process, and completing quality work efficiently so units can return to service with fewer surprises.
